PAUL MONTAGNESE

Paul is of Italian descent, but was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. His dancing career spans for more than 25 years and he is a professional dance instructor, accredited with DanceSport Australia. In 2011, Paul and his dance partner, Masha Khazanova, became the champions of South Pacific Dancesport Championship in Amateur Standard division and shortly thereafter they decided to turn professional. 2013 was a successful year for Paul and Masha. After having won the Australian Professional 10-Dance Championship and ranking 2nd in Standard, they represented Australia in the World Professional 10-Dance Championship in Moscow. Paul and Masha also achieved great results in the United States, taking the Champion title in Professional Rising Star Ballroom division at the Millennium Dancesport Championship and the Heart of America Championship.

MACKENZIE SIMMONS is a dancer and choreographer currently based in NYC. In 2020 she graduated Summa Cum Laude’ from East Carolina University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. Mackenzie has trained at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London under the direction of Hofesh Shechter and performed the works of Mary Grace McNally, Emily Greenwell, and Alexa Luke. She has taught and judged conventions, competitions, and intensives across the East Coast. Mackenzie currently freelances in New York City and recently choreographed work for “Fuze” and Bridge for Dance’s “Uptown Rising” and performed in Sybarite, Arts On Site’s “Performance Party” and Brickhouse’s “Openhouse.”
