Montana Bright is a seasoned dancer from Forest City, North Carolina with roots in competitive dance and collegiate performance. With extensive training in jazz, tap, musical theatre and clogging, she continued pursuing dance while attending Appalachian State University. She participated in Appalachian Dance Ensembles, performed at North Carolina Dance Festival Association (NCDFA), and was an active member of a contemporary and hip hop dance crew. While completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Montana began teaching competitive dance in various styles. Upon moving to Charlotte and beginning her career as a cardiothoracic scrub nurse, she began her professional journey with the Charlotte Checkers CheckMates and is currently an NBA Dancer for the Charlotte Hornets. Outside of dance, Montana enjoys supporting local arts by attending musicals at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, taking boxing classes and spending time with her two cats.
