James is trained in all styles of dance with an emphasis on tap. In 2011, James became the Tap Director at CCJ Conservatory in Columbia, SC, while simultaneously completing his Bachelors in Finance and Management from the University of South Carolina. For almost a decade, he trained hundreds of students locally and got to work with many choreographers such as Anthony Morigerato, Mike Minery, and more. In 2020, James started teaching at Charlotte Performing Arts Academy where he has won numerous accolades for his choreography. James enjoys getting to share his passion for tap with his home studio and across the southeast region teaching master classes and setting choreography.
